TREATMENT?

Is this treatment a relaxer? 

No. It is a special blended treatment of keratin amino acids and the antioxidant glutathione. This combination naturally releases curls, while reconstructing the hair cortex and cuticle. 

Can you perform this treatment on virgin hair? 

Yes, but it will not completely release the curls. It will define the curls and de-frizz the hair. 

What should I do if my hair gets wet during the first 24 hours after treatment? 

Be sure to blow-dry it immediately and follow-up with a flat iron. 

Can I go into the pool or ocean after this treatment? 

Yes, but only after the first wash.

How long will the treatment stay in my hair?

 It will last for approximately 3 to 4 months, with proper haircare. 

What shampoo should I use to sustain the longevity of this treatment? 

We recommend our professional Nano-Complex Shampoo, because it does contain the Nano-Complex with a blend of keratin, amino acids and 24K gold nano molecules. It is also free of sulfates and sodium chloride. 

Do I have to do touch ups on my next visit or the entire head?

 The entire head of hair will need a touch-up with this treatment.

When should I have this treatment done again?

 Within 3 to 4 months or as needed. 

Can I have this treatment every month? 

Yes, it is safe. 

Can you perform this hair treatment on hair color or highlights? 

Yes. 

Can I use hair color on my hair, before this treatment?

 No, it is recommended to wait at least 2 days after the treatment. If you color the hair prior the Sleek treatment, you will experience some discoloration.

After treatment, when should I wash my hair? 

Wait until after 2 days. 

Is this treatment safe for children? If yes, what ages? 

 Yes, this treatment is safe for salon clients of any age. 

When is it safe to use any hair products such as hairspray, gel or mousse on my hair after the first day of treatment? 

 Only use hairspray and serums, until after the first day of treatments. 

If I get any ridges in my hair when I sleep, what should I do? 

 Simply use our Research In Beauty Flat Iron to straighten it out. 

Can I perform this treatment while a client is pregnant or nursing? 

 All of our Research In Beauty products are safe and toxic free. For absolute safety, please have your client consult with their doctor on the use of our treatment during pregnancy.
